First IMPACT Opening
This Sunday, November 1st, will mark the first of several building openings! We will raise the curtain on the new Adult Education/Library building, so come by and see our expanded library and beautiful new atrium space. You won’t want to miss this special day as we serve complimentary danishes & coffee and most importantly celebrate what God is doing here at Champion Forest.
Moving Along
The new Adult Building is nearing completion, and the kids building is getting close as well. The finishing touches are being done in both buildings. Likewise, the Student Building is progressing nicely–on schedule to be opened early next year. Praise God for what he has done at Champion Forest!
Praying for Kids
Recently, the Kids Ministry staff and workers toured the new Kids Building. They prayed for the kids who will spend time in the building. They prayed that God will use the building as a tool to change the lives of kids. Along the way, the wrote these prayers and scriptures on the floor.
Construction Worker Appreciation Lunch
On Thursday, August 20th, Scott Riling and the Missions team organized an appreciation lunch for all of the construction workers. We served an old-fashioned BBQ feast for nearly 200 workers and told them thank you for all of their hard work. We passed out gift bags to the workers, and Pastors Medina and Riling had an opportunity to speak with a number of the men. Numerous other staff members helped to serve these men and show their appreciation.
