2nd Week of Prayer: Day 2 – Yes Lord
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Discussion Points for Your Family
- Make a list of things God has done in our lives.
- How has the Church, the Body of Christ, been a blessing in our lives?
- Knowing that God has a plan for each of us and it is GOOD, are we willing to say “YES LORD” to whatever He wants us to do?
PRAISE…
Spend time together praising God for who He is.
“Oh LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.” – Isaiah 25:1
CONFESSION…
Ask God to show us any sin in our life.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9
THANKSGIVING…
Spend time together thanking God for His work in our lives.
“…that my heart may sing to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.” – Psalm 30:12
Prayer Points
- Ask God to help us know and follow His plan.
“Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” – Amos 3:7 - Ask God to give us a willing spirit to follow Him.
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.” – Psalm 51:12
